GOSPEL

“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:21

This “Two Ways to Live” presentation of the Christian gospel is very helpful, biblical, and easy to follow. It is certainly suitable for you if you are considering the claims of Christ. It is also useful for Christians who want to grow in the gospel. We all must repent and believe the good news about Jesus.

The gospel is news. It is an announcement of the most urgent information. And, it is good news. The gospel concerns Jesus – the Lord Jesus Christ. He is Israel's Messiah, and He is the Savior of the whole world.

The gospel is news, and it is good news, but it does not allow us to leave it as mere information. We are called, even by Jesus Himself, to respond. According to the Bible, this response is to repent of our sins and to trust in the Lord Jesus, and to trust in Him alone.

God is holy and He is our creator. We are made in His image with incredible dignity. We are also rebels against our loving God and creator. But the gospel—this incredibly good news—tells us that Jesus is both Son of God and man.

God Himself has delivered and save us. Christians are saved...saved from what? Saved from God Himself, from the wrath, or holy anger, of God. For God so loved the world...! Jesus died for all of those who will ever repent of their sins and believe in Him. Cling to Jesus as your only hope.
